How to Clean Sunrise Shells

Ever wondered how to clean sunrise shells? Here, Kevin Emery of Sunrise Shells Hawaii shows you how in this hands-on demonstration.

To clean your own shells, you'll need water, white vinegar, mineral oil, a wire brush, a toothbrush, and a couple of small containers for soaking and rinsing. It also helps to have some gloves or tape to protect your fingers from the wire brush.

In this video, Kevin uses common mineral oil to protect the shell and give it shine. You can also use bamboo cutting board oil, coconut oil, or any kind of nut or vegetable oil. If you have a kind that you prefer, post it in the comments below.
